Guide for Authors

Manuscript Submission
Submission of a manuscript implies the following
• The work is original and has not been published before in Tamil language or under
consideration for publication elsewhere.
•  All authors and responsible authorities consent for publication in the journal

Manuscripts should be submitted in electronic form directly to the journal Editor at the e-mail
address (cevijay@iitm.ac.in). Authors should prepare their articles as Microsoft (MS) Word
(2003 or higher). Electronic submissions should be sent as e-mail attachments in a single file.
The guideline to prepare manuscript is given below.

In the cover letter, the authors must attest that the research described in the manuscript is the
original work of the author(s) that has not been previously published in Tamil language, in whole
or in part, and that it is not under consideration by any other Tamil journal.

The journal publishes only Research Review articles. There is no page or word limit to any the
submitted manuscripts.

Preparation of Manuscript
Manuscript must be typed in English using MS Word software in double-spaced form and font
size used should be Times New Roman of 12 point. All the manuscript contents should be
included in a single document. The article format should be following: title, authors' names, with
their affiliations, abstract, keywords, manuscript content, references, acknowledgements (if
any), list of figure captions, figures and tables. All diagrams/images should be saved in MS
Word format.

Manuscript should be divided into sections and each section should be clearly numbered. For
instance, “Introduction” should be numbered as “1” and any Subsections should be numbered
1.1, 1.2, etc. Note that “Abstract” and “References” should not be numbered.
