ABSTRACT
The emergence of carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) has received greater potential in biological labeling, bioimaging and other different optoelectronic device applications. Preparation of CNPs using Pongamia pinnata shoots in the presence of castrol oil is reported in the present study. The structural and optical properties of CNPs were studied using X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDAX) analysis. ______________________________________________________________
